Privacy Policy
This page explains what Think Beyond collects when you apply to the Summer Build Studio, pay for a seat, or get in touch, and what we do with it. We try to collect as little as possible and to be plain about the rest.
When you apply for a seat, we collect the information you give us directly: the parent or student name, an email address, your chosen payment plan, and anything you add in an optional note.
When you pay for a seat, payment is processed by Stripe. Card numbers and payment credentials are entered on Stripe and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We receive a confirmation, the amount, and limited billing details such as name and email needed to manage your enrollment.
Like most websites, our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not run advertising trackers.
To review applications, confirm seats, run the cohort, and stay in touch about the program you applied to.
To send the small number of emails tied to the cohort you applied to. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.
To process payments and handle refunds, invoices, or purchase orders.
Service providers that help us run the program: Stripe for payments, our website host, and the email service we use to reach you. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
We disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a participant or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
The Summer Build Studio is for builders aged 14 to 18. We ask that a parent or guardian complete the application and payment for a minor. The information we collect about a student is limited to what is needed to run the cohort and communicate with the family.
During the cohort, student projects are built on tools that default to no personal data, and we coach students not to put sensitive information into the apps they build. If you would like a student record corrected or deleted, email us and we will take care of it.
We keep application and enrollment records for as long as needed to run the program and to meet tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see below.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time. To make a request, email hi@thinkbeyondlab.com and we will respond.
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what you share with us protected.
If we make a material change, we will update this page and the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
