A summer studio that doesn't leave the room until your app is live.
Most coding programs for teenagers end in a certificate, a tutorial half-finished, or a project that never quite shipped. Think Beyond is the opposite. Your student sits next to a working engineer and builds one real app with AI, and we keep meeting until it's deployed at a public URL they can show anyone who asks what they've been building.
A working app, not a certificate.
Nobody leaves until the URL is live. If yours is not live by the last session, you keep coming back until it is. That is written into how every cohort ends.
Run by people who still teach.
Every cohort lead has classroom hours and production code to their name. The answers come from a peer who has built the thing, not a vendor with a slide deck.
Honest about what this is.
We do not promise admissions outcomes or district transformations. What you get is one working thing you own, plus the words to talk about it.
Owned, not subscribed.
You leave with a tool you built and control, not another SaaS line item to renew next year. We build on a stack you already have.
Chris Meehan
I've spent around fifteen years across classrooms, nonprofits, and global EdTech work, watching good ideas die in the gap between “wouldn't it be cool if” and “okay, but who builds it.” Think Beyond is the studio I would have wanted as the student who already had the idea but did not yet know how to ship it.
I'm a teacher who also writes real code, so I get both halves of this. I know how to explain a thing until it clicks, and I've shipped the kinds of apps your student will be building. Most “AI for education” is built around what is easy for a vendor to sell. Think Beyond is built around what is useful to the person in the room, and the whole job is to get them to “done.”
